IMPRESSIONS | AMSTERDAM

Currently are holidays and I used the time to visit Amsterdam. I love Amsterdam for the old and antic houses and the beautiful alleys. Everytime when I'm there, I'm obsessed of the many smal boutigues, because they have unique things. You definitely should visit Amsterdam one time !

Da momentan Sommerferien sind, war ich letzte Woche in Amsterdam. Ich liebe die Stadt für die alten und antiken Häuser und die schönen Gassen. Bei jedem Besuch verzaubern mich die vielen kleinen Boutiquen, da es dort Sachen gibt, die nicht jeder hat. Amsterdam ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert !

Sometimes you need the days where you just (want to) do nothing. Today was such a day and we used that day to find inspiration in some of Melinas old VOGUE Magazines. The newest issue of VOGUE from August gave us also some inspirations.

In the meantime we browsed the records of Melinas father and hanged some of them up. On the last photo you can see Melinas cat who spent the hole day with us.

Manchmal hat man einfach diese Tage, an denen man nichts vorhat und auch nur zuhause sein möchte. So einen Tag haben wir heute ausgenutzt um die vielen alten und vergessen VOGUE Zeitschriften nocheinmal durchzublättern und die ein oder andere Inspiration zu finden. Von der neusten Ausgabe der VOGUE (August) haben wir uns ebenfalls inspirieren lassen. Dabei haben wir die alten Schalplatten von Melinas Vater durchstöbert und die Ein oder Andere aufgelegt. Auf dem letzten Bild seht ihr Melinas Kater, der den ganzen Tag mit uns verbracht hat.

Die Rocco Bag von ALEXANDER WANG ist momentan Melinas Lieblingstasche uns sie ist sich sicher, dass sie irgendwann genügend Geld gespart hast um sie sich zu kaufen. Perfekt dazu passt die high waist Nietenshorts und die hohen Chelsea Boots. Ein DIY Tutorial zu Studded und Dip Dye Shorts wird in Kürze folgen. Wir hoffen wir konnten euch erstmal einen kleinen Einblick in unseren Modegeschmack geben und euch vielleicht auch ein wenig inspirieren. VORSTELLUNG | OUR URBAN FASHION

Since a very long time we look up to all of the gorgeous Fashionblogs. Everytime we wanted to start our own blog but we never did it. But just now we thought "If not now, when then ?" and because of that we start our own blog, NOW. Mostly we post about stuff like fashion but also about photography, lifestyle and everyday matters. We manage the blog in pairs and because one of us (Melina) does an exchange year in the USA in August, we post from Cologne, Germany (Lena) and Washington.

Seit langer Zeit bewundern wir die vielen tollen Fashionblogs die es gibt. Wir hatten immer im Hinterkopf unseren eigenen Blog zu starten. Wie es aber so ist, haben wir es immer vor uns her geschoben. Aber gerade ist uns in den Sinn gekommen "Wenn nicht jetzt, wann dann ?" und genau deshalb starten wir nun unseren eigenen Blog. Wir posten hauptsächlich über Fashion, aber auch über Fotographie, Lifestyle und Alltägliches. Wir führen den Blog zu zweit und da eine von uns (Melina) ab Mitte August ein Auslandsjahr in den USA macht, posten wir aus Köln (Lena) und Washington.
